Mr. Shirley
yesterday i spoke to Martha Reeves via telephone(featured singer of Motown fame, Martha & The Vandellas. You left Los Angels early Suday morning Sept 23rd after a stellar performance during the 150th Anniversary Emancipation Proclamation Concert on Sept 22nd and on the same day Martha presented an award to Thelma Houston at the Heros & Legends Foundation Scholarship Dinner, in recognition of Thelma as the first female artist on the Motown label to receive a Grammy. I am fortunate to know both of them. Martha is now back in Detroit. Considering she is one of your former music students in the Detroit school system and Martha has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, honored at the White House and numerous other recognitions,I will take the liberty to email you her telephone. Youth is 100% of our future.
