Music Theatre Wales presents the world premiere of Eleanor Alberga's chamber opera, based on Isabel Allende's story of love and betrayal in South America. Setting a libretto by Donald Sturrock, it is a tenderly imagined tale about a young woman who follows the calling of her heart to unravel the truth behind the brutal deception of her marriage. Starring Mary Plazas (AnalÌa), with Jonathan May (Eugenio) and Christopher Steele (Luis). Michael Rafferty conducts; the director is Michael McCarthy.
